About the Role
As a Ramp Team Leader, you will supervise day-to-day aircraft turnaround activities and ensure ground handling operations run safely and efficiently. You will lead ramp personnel, maintain operational standards, monitor aircraft servicing activities, and coordinate with airport departments to achieve on-time departures while maintaining the highest level of aviation safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise aircraft loading and unloading operations.
- Lead and coordinate ramp personnel during aircraft turnaround.
- Ensure compliance with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Maintain aviation safety and airport operational standards.
- Promote a strong workplace safety culture.
- Identify operational hazards and assist in resolving them promptly.
- Conduct pre-shift briefings and communicate operational updates.
- Inspect aircraft contact points for damage during arrivals and departures.
- Report incidents, delays, and irregularities to the Duty Manager.
- Prepare daily operational reports and required documentation.
- Coordinate with airport departments for smooth aircraft departures.
- Support teamwork and continuous operational improvement.
Eligibility Requirements
- High School Diploma or an equivalent qualification.
- Minimum three years of airport ground handling experience.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience is an advantage.
