Age Limit Details

› Principal: Upto 50 years

› Post Graduate Teachers (PGT): Up to 40 years

› Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT): Up to 35 years

› Art Teacher: Up to 34 years

› PET Mail: Upto 35 years

Educational Qualifications

1. Principal

• Post Graduation with minimum 50% marks from a recognized University
• B.Ed or equivalent teaching degree

2. Post Graduate Teachers (TGT)

• Two years integrated post graduate course from NCERT’s Regional College of Education/ NCTE recognized Universities/ Institutions or 4 years integrated degree course from these institutions B.Ed not required
• OR PG, B.Ed with 50% marks in the concerned subject and should be proficient in Hindi and English.
• Knowledge in computer application will be preferred

3. Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT)

• Four years integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT or other NCET recognized institution with minimum 50 percent marks in the concerned subject and aggregate.
• OR Master’s degree with at least 50 per cent marks in all relevant subjects individually and must have studied the required subjects for at least two years in a three-year degree course.

4. TGT (Third Language)

• Pass the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) conducted by CBSE as per the mark instructions prepared by NCTE

B.Ed degree

• Ability to teach Hindi and English languages
• Experience of working in residential school

5. Music teacher

• 5 years Bachelor or Post Graduate degree or qualification in music studies from a government recognized institution
• OR Degree with Music from a recognized University

6. Art teacher

• Four years Diploma in any subject like Drawing/ Painting/ Graphic Arts/ Crafts after passing Plus Two
• OR Degree in Fine Arts/Crafts from a recognized University
• B.Ed degree

7. PET (Male and Female)

• Degree in Physical Education from the institution

8. Librarian

•  Degree in Library Science from a recognized University
• Working knowledge of Hindi, English or other regional languages
