About the Role
This position plays a crucial part in ensuring smooth logistics operations within the Watches & Jewellery division. The Driver will be responsible for safely transporting goods between warehouses, showrooms, and customer locations. The role demands reliability, strong attention to detail, and a thorough knowledge of UAE roadways. As part of the logistics team, you will contribute directly to operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely deliver products, stock, and materials to designated locations across the UAE.
- Perform daily inspections to ensure the assigned vehicle is in excellent working condition.
- Handle timely and secure transfer of goods between warehouses and retail outlets.
- Assist in in-store product movements and transfers between showrooms.
- Support e-commerce delivery operations and customer home deliveries when required.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle usage in logbooks.
- Uphold company safety and operational standards at all times.
Performance & Vehicle Maintenance
- Ensure punctuality in all delivery schedules to maintain business flow.
- Keep vehicles clean, serviced, and in full compliance with company standards.
- Follow designated routes efficiently and safely.
- Report any mechanical or safety issues promptly to the supervisor.
Qualifications & Skills Required
- High school diploma or equivalent educational background.
- 1–2 years of experience in logistics, retail, or delivery operations.
- Good communication and time management skills.
- Strong knowledge of UAE traffic rules and road networks.
- Physically capable of handling goods when required.
- Valid Manual UAE Driving License is mandatory.
